From 16 to 18 April, 2024 De la Rey Consulting organized the business mission of Saratov small and medium-sized companies to Kyrgyzstan. The delegation of Saratov region consisted of 4 manufacturing companies, namely manufacturers of flour, sunflower oil, packing and packaging equipment, geosynthetic materials for gas and oil pipelines and road construction
The business program in Bishkek started with negotiations with one of the largest FMCG retailers of Kyrgyzstan, which operates such retail chains as “Narodniy”, “Globus”, “SPAR” and “Dostor”. After that the delegation visited the Trade Representation of Russia in Kyrgyzstan and the regional office of Russian Export Center in Bishkek.
On April 17 the business mission continued with a B2B matchmaking session at Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. Besides, Saratov food manufacturing companies held a meeting with a Department Head of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. After that, Russian companies visited offices and manufacturing sites of potential Kyrgyz partners.
Next day the delegation members took trade negotiations with prospective B2B clients in 3 Kyrgyz cities, namely Bishkek, Shapokov, and Kant. Besides, the delegation visited the Free Economic Zone “Bishkek”, where Russian companies represented their export products to FEZ residents.
The meetings and negotiations held during the business mission resulted in a number of agreements on trial shipments of Russian goods and equipment to Kyrgyz market.
