De La Rey arranged a B2B tour to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan for a Korean car company

From 10 to 13 February, 2020 De La Rey Consulting Ltd. organized a B2B tour for a South Korean company interested in entering the largest markets of Central Asia. Based in the second-largest Korean city Busan, the company specializes in hydraulic bottle jack producing, car recycling and used car trade. The goal of the project was to find and attract relevant service, trading or manufacturing enterprises for establishing the direct business cooperation and launching export of Korean used cars and car parts to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The business tour started in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan, where the Korean company negotiated with five potential buyers, including UzAutoSanoat JSC, the Uzbek state holding that controls the automotive manufacturing enterprises. All the meetings were conducted at buyers’ offices and stores.

In Nur-Sultan the Korean company held four B2B talks with potential partners interested in importing Korean used cars and car parts to Kazakhstan’s market. Together with companies from Nur-Sultan, the meetings attracted entrepreneurs from Almaty, the most populated city of Kazakhstan.

After the business tour De La Rey Consulting Ltd. provided a comprehensive follow-up report containing meeting summaries, remarks and road maps for cooperation with each potential partner.
